Are you part of a church?
We have tenants from a wide variety of church backgrounds — from quiet reflective Catholics to the most vibrant charismatic believers. We’ve also welcomed Muslim, Hindu, African traditional, and other faith backgrounds who’ve attended our Christian meetings.
We don’t represent one specific church denomination. We are part of the diverse body of Christ — a miniature reflection of the worldwide Church.
Are you a pastor?
People often project their expectations — some call me pastor, prophet, missionary, evangelist, or minister. Others reject labels altogether.
To some, I’m exactly the title they assign. To others, I’m simply a believer serving Jesus. I’m content with either. Titles don’t matter as much as living the Gospel. I am a definitely Missionary on a Mission!
I absolutely love the idea of your meetings… but do I have to attend?
We encourage everyone to make time for God — just one hour a week can bring powerful change. If you genuinely don’t want to be part of Christian community, there are other accommodations in Durban without spiritual meetings. But if you want spiritual growth, it starts with showing up.
Do I have to pray at the meeting?
Prayer is simply communication with God. We teach you easy, practical steps to grow in prayer. Many tenants have learned the power of prayer by simply praying out loud for the first time in a safe, welcoming space.
Why do you have meetings if it’s already a Christian place?

A fresh start doesn’t come just from attending meetings — it comes from living out what you learn: read your Bible daily, pray and thank God daily, repent regularly, take notes, and apply what you learn.

What kind of teachings do you offer?
We use a variety of formats: straight Bible reading, praise & worship, topical discussions, slideshows and character studies, spontaneous teachings and quizzes, prayer for families and the city, and occasional stretching or fun games. We also host social gatherings such as bring & braai and movie nights.
